Pets are just as at-risk for injury in the bathroom as us
humans. Here are a few ways to help increase bathroom
safety for our four-legged friends:
• Close the toilet lid to keep them from drinking unsanitary
water.
• Block any small spaces or holes inside cabinetry.
• Remove temptations such as food or candy wrappers from the garbage can.
• Keep hand soaps, toothpaste, medications and cleaners
behind closed doors, preferably with a lock or childproof
latch. After all, do you really want your pets getting into
your personal hygiene products?
