• Rinse bath mats thoroughly after use to remove any residue and hang over the edge of the tub to dry. Do not leave mat in tub.

• Launder shower curtains frequently.

• Repair all water leaks. Most leaks result from washers in faucets and showerheads.

• Let sunlight enter the bathroom or use bathroom lighting before, during and after a shower or hot bath.

• After bathing, leave shower curtain hung open loosely so it dries quickly. Also arrange shower curtains so water doesn't leak on the floor.

• Before hanging shower curtains, soak in salt water solutions to prevent mildew.
